A quick summary:

In this video I go over the different use cases for matte versus glossy covers for kindle direct publishing low and no content notebooks and journals. I personally have been experimenting to find the best options for these covers.

95% of my current products use the matte finish but the glossy finish is great for certain niches. If your niche may be using the the final product in a dirty environment then glossy is the way to go.
